About the designer

Kaykay is the founding designer of Kaykay By Design, an atelier based in Egbeda, Lagos. Trained in couture construction and mentored by a generation of West African tailors, she opened the studio to serve brides and prom clients who wanted their gowns built — not bought. Today the house ships worldwide and dresses women for the days they will keep photographs of forever.
